Ciao mondo!! E' cominciato il conto alla rovescia per il Natale e sono tutta indaffarata a preparare le mie creazioni da proporre al mercatino che farò a dicembre..ma oggi sono qui per condividere con voi l'ultima card per una nascita che mi è stata commissionata per l'arrivo del piccolo Ryan!

Due cornicette porta foto

Ciao mondo! Ecco per voi oggi due cornicette porta foto costruite da zero da me! Sono le ultime nate e sono già state adottate!! Continua qui la mia sperimentezione con i gelatos.. I fiori sono stati tagliati con la cameo, colorati con i gelatos e poi assemblati! Stessa cosa per il manichino. Qui ho utilizzato cartone da recupero, ho fustellato, sporcato con i gelatos e decorato! Poi qualche gessetto, un bottone, un sentiments ed eccole finite..

Le cornici le ho ricavate usando il negativo della fustellata Postage frame di Tim Holtz..così ho ottenuto due cornici più capienti!! Ecco qualche dettaglio..

Gelatos...primi approcci

Ciao mondo!! Oggi sono qui per condividere con voi i miei primi esperimenti con i pastelli Gelatos della Faber Castell. Ma come potevo stare senza, prima? Li ho scoperti per caso girovagando per il web e mi hanno subito incuriosito. Così, alla prima occasione, li ho presi!
I gelatos sono colori a bastoncino cremosi, solubili in acqua, resistenti alla luce, Acid Free. (se volete saperne di più leggete qui)

Ecco come li ho usati io...

Con la fustella Bag Caddy xl della sizzix ho tagliato del cartone da cartonaggio che ho successivamente dipinto con una base di acrilico panna. Poi ho fatto alcune timbrate che ho embossato con la polverina da rilievo bianca..e poi via al divertimento! ho sporcato casualmente il tutto con i gelatos e ho sfumato con le dita!! Il colore si fonde e resta brillante!! Uno spettacolo!! Si puo' sciogliere il colore anche con l'acqua ma io ho preferito non usarla..Questa volta..
Si, perchè credo che userò molto spesso questi fantastici colori..

E i fiori?? Vogliamo parlarne?? Ho tagliato del semplice cartoncino bianco da 300 grammi utilizzando la fustella di Tim Holtz Tattered Florals, ho sporcato con i gelatos, sfumato con le dita e assemblato. Poi, per dare un tocco in piu', ho sciolto sul fiore un po' di polvere trasparente..et voilla!!

And the flowers? We want to talk about it? I cut the simple white cardboard 300 grams using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die, I soiled with gelatos, blended with fingers and assembled. Then, to give a little extra 'I melted on the flower a little' dust transparent .. et voilla!

Fuori porta natalizi

Ciao mondo! Eccomi di nuovo qui ad aggiornare il mio blog! Questo è un periodo molto pieno, si crea per Natale, ma si fa anche da infermiera ai bimbi col naso colante e tosse ad intermittenza e nel frattempo si cerca di imparare a colorare con le matite e a sperimentare i Gelatos.. insomma, non mi annoio!!
Oggi per voi ci sono tre, e dico tre, fuori porta di Natalosi realizzati con alcune fustelle della big shot e la cameo..Li sto preparando per il mercatino e mi piacerebbe sapere cosa ne pensate!
